Partnership 2000, a program of the Jewish Agency for Israel and United Jewish Communities, promotes people-to-people relationships between 14 communities and Israel’s Western Galilee through cultural, social, medical, educational, and economic programs.
The mission of the partnership is to promote mutually beneficial endeavors between the people of the Central Area Consortium communities and the Western Galilee, forging relationships through programs that build Jewish identity in the United States and Israel and strengthen ties and connections among the communities and between Israel and the United States.
Connected communities in the United States: Akron, Canton, Dayton, Toledo and Youngstown, Ohio; Indianapolis, Northwest Indiana and South Bend, Indiana; Louisville, Kentucky; Des Moines, Iowa; Omaha, Nebraska; Dallas, Ft. Worth and San Antonio, Texas. One-hundred percent of the funds raised in the Israel Relief Fund benefit the programs and services in the Western Galilee.
