The Jewish Federation of Northwest Indiana is part of the Jewish Federations of North America, a nationwide humanitarian network that serves millions of Jews and non-Jews everyday around the world. The Jewish Federation network includes 155 communities across the continent.

As part of the Federation Community, the Jewish Federation of Northwest Indiana has been helping to enrich Jewish life and assist those facing hardship here at home and around the world since 1940.

Jewish Federation of NWI through our Jewish Community Services Department helps support many local programs and services, including our K'Ton Ton preschool, our JCY Summer Camp, and our Adult Friendship Club.  Through its overseas partners, JFNWI provide rescue, relief, and development programs and services to Jewish communities in need in 60 countries, including Israel, the former Soviet Union, Latin America, Africa, and Central and Eastern Europe. JFNWI and its overseas partners also provide non-sectarian aid to overseas communities in times of crisis.
