FOOD PANTRY CONTEST
To our Members:
We are happy to announce the completion of a successful food drive this spring. This was a result of our unified and committed Jewish community dedicated to aiding the needy in our own backyard of
The future of this community project not only requires volunteerism, time, and donations, but it needs a NAME, an identity unique to and consistent with our Jewish virtue of Tikun Olam, making the world a better place. We are holding a contest for that NAME, requesting all members of our community to submit their suggestions. All of the ideas will be reviewed, and the winner will be awarded a $50 donation to the Federation fund of their choice and will be featured in the next issue of the Illiana News.
In addition, the Sunday school students will be asked to design and submit an idea for a LOGO, a distinctive symbol for the project.
Please e-mail your suggestion to federationevents@airbaud.net and be sure to include your name, address and telephone number.
Remember that the ultimate winners of this contest are the recipients of your generosity and kindness…..those in need. Thank you in advance for joining us in this project.
Sincerely,
Gus Galante and Nancy Feldman, Co-Chairs
